Wardrobe vs chimney

A 'maison de maître' often offers high ceiling heights and chimney in most of the rooms. Even if a chimney in a bedroom seems useless today, it is not rare to keep it for an aesthetic reason of just because the removal is not an option. This is when made-to-measure could make the difference since fireplace and storage don't match very well together. Here, the built-in wardrobe is perfectly executed. We could even forget that it used to be a constraint before.

Kitchen with small island

Noir Ebène's designers could express their expertise in the conception of this kitchen. The dimensions of the room and the ceiling height were quite thankless, however we could optimize the space taking into consideration the request of having a small island and keeping the existing fridge.

Long central island

It has finally been decided to go for a central island with important dimensions for this project since it must represent the major element of the kitchen. Among others, cooking and eating corner are included in this island. Plus, the choice of a Carrare marble with 6cm of thickness makes the realisation more modern and offers us a stunning scenery.

Kitchen with central island and integrated cupboard

The decision to open the kitchen onto the living room enables the daylight to get through the whole apartment and gives the feeling to have a bigger room. White tones have been here selected in order to offer a finer style and in order to guarantee a beautiful harmony between elements such as the island working surface in oak and the countertop in black granit of the sink side. The cupboard next to the open kitchen has been realised in accordance with the style and lines improving the integration of the global project in this apartment.

Modern kitchen with units in oak

In this small apartment, every square meter has been reviewed and we had to find out the best solution to integrate the kitchen and its central island. The client went for an island which enables 4 people to seat since it also offers storage spaces that a regular table couldn't do. Also, not having suspended units makes the final result lighter and purer. The combination between oak units and Carrara marble works perfectly well. Finally, the creation of a little wall allowed the integration of a cupboard dedicated to the fridge.

Shades of gray

The most obvious design often hides a long and complicated study. The kitchen here is certainly not the most complicated, however it required hours of brainstorming and deep thinking to succeed in finding the right balance between storage spaces and ligth design. The new kitchen answers perfectly the needs of its users and is pretty well integrated within this bright room. The countertop made from reconstituted stone and the high end handles have both an aesthetic and handy fonction.

Dare to go for a color! We can never repeat it often enough. Even if it often represents a risk, choosing a strong color could become a great decision. You won't forget this kitchen easily. Kitchen in an extension

Regarding this realisation, we had to take into account numerous constraints. Existing technical ducts, volume of the veranda or even the color of the chassis for instance. All these elements made the conception more complicated. Final choice concerning the color of the cupboards has been done after several tests only, and the modern style of this kitchen has been carefully considered. Ultimately, it results in a contemporary kitchen with a smooth pastel color which matches with the green chassis and works with the intense brightness of the room. This pure kitchen combines functionality design.

Off-black Classic kitchen

When we arrived in this room, the back door of the kitchen had already been removed offering us more conception possibilities regarding this project. We had therefore the opportunity to use the entire width of the main wall. Together with the clients, we decided to go for a classic kitchen painted in a dark blue color matching the tiles of the floor. Pilasters on both side of the hood cover, wall covers in the back of the kitchen and white quartz countertop are other important elements that make this realisation a real success.

Modern wardrobe

Under roof interiors are always challenging. In this case, we had a vast volume to cover and it let our imagination run free to mix closet, various storage and bookcase solutions. Beside the sloping ceilings, different constraints make it more complicated without distracting us from our main goal which was the optimization of the available space.
